USSEC extends bunker charges to December
U.S. South Europe Conference ocean carriers Maersk Sealand and P&O Nedlloyd, have extended the period of their current bunker charges and tariff currency adjustment factor through to at least Dec. 31.
Bunker tariffs will be extended unchanged for December at $401 per 20-foot container and $802 per 40-foot container. For the same period, USSEC’s tariff currency adjustment factor remains at 9 percent.
Hapag-Lloyd was forced to withdraw from the conference under conditions given by the European Union following parent company TUI AG’s takeover bid for CP Ships.
