USTDA awards $542,249 grant for Uganda airport study
The U.S. Trade and Development Agency awarded a $542,249 grant to the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority for a study of its operations at the Entebbe International Airport.
A major focus of the study will be air-cargo operations. “Enhanced cargo facilities will directly support Uganda’s growing international trade and its ability to utilize trade benefits under the African Growth and Opportunity Act,” the USTDA said.
The Uganda Civil Aviation Authority picked LPA Group of Columbia, S.C., to conduct the study.
