VECTOR SCM NAMES OÆDONNELL VP OF GLOBAL OPERATIONS
Vector SCM, the joint venture between General Motors and the Menlo Worldwide group, has named Michael W. O'Donnell vice president of global operations.
O'Donnell was vice president of operations for Penske Logistics, where he was responsible for implementing Ford Motor Co.'s entire North America vehicle operation network. He has more than 20 years of logistics management experience including positions at United Parcel Service, Toyota and TNT Logistics.
Vector SCM functions as the lead logistics provider for GM. O'Donnell will oversee the company's technology and physical infrastructure that provide end-to-end visibility for products and materials as they move within GM's global supply chain.
Menlo Worldwide, which provides integrated business solutions, is owned by CNF Inc.
