VIRGIN ATLANTIC CARGO STRENGTHENS COMMERCIAL TEAM

   Virgin Atlantic Cargo has named Simon Pinnock as sales manager and Dan Parker as business strategy manager, effective Sept. 1.

   Pinnock, who has been with the airline's cargo department since 1991, will report to Michelle House, Virgin Atlantic Cargo's commercial manager. He has six years experience as a freight forwarder, and helped develop Virgin's in-house shipping department.

   Parker, was has been with Virgin since 1997, most recently as sales manager, will work more directly with John Lloyd, director of cargo.
