WALLENIUS WILHELMSEN ADDS CALLS AT BRUNSWICK, CHARLESTON
Wallenius Wilhelmsen has extended to South Atlantic ports its North Atlantic/North Europe pure-car-truck carrier service.
The Scandinavian shipping line’s weekly North Atlantic service will now include Brunswick, Ga., Charleston, S.C., as direct calls. It will also start calling at Gothenburg, Sweden. The revised rotation of the service is Halifax, New York, Baltimore, Brunswick, Charleston, Southampton, Zeebrugge, Bremerhaven, and Gothenburg.
Meanwhile, the so-called Round-the-World service of Wallenius Wilhelmsen will no longer call at Brunswick, but it will feature direct
calls at Miami. Two to four times monthly, the vessels of this service will load at Los Angeles, New Orleans, Miami, Jacksonville, Savannah, Norfolk, Baltimore, New York, and Saint John, then sail to Bristol, Flushing, Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Zeebrugge and Southampton.
In a separate development, to increase its increase access to the Russian market, the Scandinavian shipping line will offer a transshipment service to Kotka, Finland, via Bremerhaven, Germany.
