Wallenius Wilhelmsen reshuffles U.S. management

Wallenius Wilhelmsen Lines is making several executive management changes at its Americas regional headquarters to coincide with the move of Raymond Fitzgerald, executive vice president of commercial and deputy head of the region, to the position of chief operating officer and head of the Scandinavian company’s ocean services division in Oslo.

John Felitto has been appointed senior vice president of commercial for the Americas region, replacing Fitzgerald. Based at the regional head office in Woodcliff Lake, N.J., he will be responsible for all commercial matters for North, South and Central America. Felitto joined Wallenius Wilhelmsen in 2001 from Hamburg Sud, and has more than 16 years of maritime experience.

Susannah Cable has been promoted to general manager of sales. Her responsibilities will include European automotive manufacturers, project cargo, forestry, privately owned vehicles, freight forwarders and West coast and Canadian sales. She joined the company in 1998, and has held management positions in sales and customer service.

Jan Eyvin Wang, former president of the Americas region, has been succeeded by Chris Connors, formerly chief operating officer and head of the company’s ocean services in Oslo.
