WAN HAI TO TAKE TRANSPACIFIC SLOTS ON YANG MING SHIPS
Wan Hai Lines will take space from fellow Taiwanese carrier Yang Ming Marine Transport from ports on the U.S. West Coast to ports in Asia.
The agreement, filed with the U.S. Federal Maritime Commission, appears to concern only the westbound trade to Asia.
Wan Hai and Yang Ming have requested expedited review of their proposed “Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation/Wan Hai Lines Ltd. Asia/U.S. Pacific Coast Slot Allocation & Sailing Agreement” by the regulator.
