Wilhelmsen reports strong results for 2005
The Norwegian shipping company Wilh. Wilhelmsen ASA reported Tuesday it had a strong year in 2005, with a net operating profit of $232 million and total operating income of $2.2 billion.
'The market is strong and cargo availability good in the most important trades,' said Ingar Skaug, chief executive officer. 'Fleet utilization is very high, but bunker prices and charter costs are also at a high level.'
