WINWOOD JOINS SANDLER & TRAVIS AS SENIOR VP, BORDER SECURITY
Former U.S. Customs Deputy Commissioner Charles Winwood has been named senior vice president, border security of Sandler & Travis Trade Advisory Services Inc., a provider of customs and international trade consulting services.
Winwood, a 30-year Customs Service veteran, was acting commissioner in 2001. He has also served as assistant commissioner for the offices of Field Operations, Strategic Trade, and Inspection and Control.
Winwood, who will be based at Sandler & Travis' Washington office, joins other former senior Customs officials at the firm, including three other past deputy commissioners — Samuel Banks, Michael H. Lane, and Alfred R. De Angelus.
