WORLD AIRWAYS, PAN AIRLINES CARGO SIGN CONTRACT
World Airways Inc. has signed a three-year contract with Pan Airlines Cargo to operate two DC10-30F aircraft, which will fly from Miami and Los Angeles to Central and South America.
World Airways projects that the contract will generate more than $28 million in revenue annually, or an estimated $48 million over the life of the contract.
The first aircraft will begin operation on July 9, with the second starting service on August 1.
World Airways says it plans to add two more DC10-30F aircraft by the end of this year.
