YAMAHA PICKS QUESTAWEB TO MANAGE U.S. IMPORTS
Yamaha Corp. of America, a provider of electronic products and musical instruments, has contracted with QuestaWeb, Inc., a provider of cross-border solutions, to expedite the shipment of Yamaha’s U.S. imports.
Yamaha will use QuestaWeb’s QW Importer solution to insure compliance with U.S. Customs and speed deliveries to customers. Implementation of the software includes integration with Yamaha’s SAP/R3 and Oracle 11i systems.
QuestaWeb’s application “will allow our company to have more visibility and control over our U.S. import operations,” said Walter Wood, vice president of operations at Yamaha.
Yamaha, based in Buena Park, Calif., is a subsidiary of Yamaha Corp. in Japan. QuestaWeb is based in Westfield, N.J.
