Yang Ming, COSCO confirm new Asia/PNW service
Yang Ming and COSCO will start a second Asia/Pacific Northwest joint weekly service June 1 to capitalize on the growing demand for capacity to Pacific Northwest ports.
The service will call at Shanghai, Tacoma, Vancouver and Shanghai and employ four vessels of 1,300-TEU capacities. The first scheduled sailing will be that of the “Yang Ming Hawk” in Shanghai on June 1.
COSCO and Yang Ming will continue to operate their existing Asia/Pacific Northwest service with five vessels of 2,800-TEU capacities.
