ZIM EXPANDS INDOCHINA SERVICE
Zim Israel Navigation Co. said that it will expand its Zim Indochina Line intra-Asia container service at the end of the month and add direct calls at Chinese ports.
The Zim Indochina Line service, now renamed Indochina Express Line, will employ four vessels of 650-TEU capacity, providing weekly sailings. Previously, the service utilized three ships, on a shorter rotation.
The revised service will call at Bangkok and Laem Chabang, Thailand; Ho Chi Minh City and Haiphong, Vietnam; Shekou, Ningbo, Shanghai, Fuzhou and Xiamen, China; Ho Chi Minh City; Sihanoukville, Cambodia; and Bangkok.
Zim said that the Indochina Express Line is scheduled to begin its operation towards the end of October.
