ZIM SHORTENS ROTATION OF ASIA/NORTH AMERICA/MED SERVICE
Zim Israel Navigation has shortened the rotation of its weekly “Asia Med Pacific” service and reduced the number of ships of this operation from 13 to 11. Direct calls at the ports of Koper, Venice, Trieste and Piraeus have all been stopped.
Two ships previously on the “Asia Med Pacific” service have been reallocated to the new transpacific “AUX” service that Zim is starting with Lloyd Triestino.
The “Asia Med Pacific” service now uses 11 ships of about 3,000 TEUs and has a revised port rotation of Haifa; Colombo; Jurong Port, Singapore; Shekou; Hong Kong; Shanghai; Busan; Vancouver, B.C.; Seattle, Wash.; Busan; Shanghai; Shekou; Hong Kong; Jurong Port; Colombo and Haifa.
